July’s Event: Professional Pet Photoshoot
Southwest DC Community Center along with Happy Paws offered a free professional photoshoot for pets in the community. Pets were given star treatment as they posed for their official photos at the Southwest Duck Pound.
All photos have been entered into a contest where the winner is determined by the by you and the community. The prize is a feature spot in the 2026 PAWS of SOUTHWEST calendar. Calendars will be available at this year's Fall Family Fest on October 12th. Voting will officially open on August 16th.
